History
On March 4, 1998 the Apostolic Faith Church of Texas, Inc. was established. God called a group of dedicated believers to start a new Christian work under the direction of the Holy Spirit. The Church was located at 2420 Cartwright Road in Missouri City, TX from 1998 to 2000. It then relocated to 13318 Almeda Road, Houston, TX 77045. In 2009 the church began hosting services in Southeast Houston temporarily and expects the 1st phase of construction for its permanent sanctuary to be completed in Fall 2010.
On July 29, 2001 in an ordination service conducted by Overseer, Myron Stevens of the Christian Faith Assembly, REv. Elroy Turnbull was ordained as Pastor and Rev. Thelma L. Gipson as Associate Minister. On June 7, 2002 the church changed its name to Trinity Christian Tabernacle.
